Open Question: Would you be happy if you found out that your girlfriend/wife had never been with anyone before you?

And she's 22 years old and very pretty. Hasn't done anything past making out. I've known her for years before we got together and she really is a virgin but has had plenty of offers. She just didn't want a boyfriend before, she said. She wants to wait until she is pretty sure she is with the right guy. Will this be a problem that she hasn't had any relationships before or dated? Would you rather be with (longterm) a girl who is a virgin, someone who has slept with her one or two previous boyfriends? What do you think?

Open Question: Is picking the runt of the litter a bad idea?

My boyfriend and I are picking out a kitten from this litter. I picked the runt. My boyfriend did some research and says that they're more prone to health problems, but when I looked into it a lot of sites said that that's usually within the first four weeks and he's nine weeks old. Does anyone know if they have more health problems later in life that any other cat? Thanks By the way- he has already had his first shot and he's been de wormed.

Open Question: Living together, now he doesn't want to get married. How do I fix this?

My boyfriend and I have been living together for a year. We "act like" we are married -- we share a home and a car, I visit his family with him for holidays and he does handiwork around my mom's house. (For reference, we are in our mid-twenties.) The problem is that now I am starting to think about marriage, and he doesn't seem to be in the same place. When we first moved in together, he acted like he wanted to marry me as soon as I'd be willing to say yes -- but now he wants to wait to get married until he has a better job, or until we have more free time to plan a wedding, or until _____, etc. etc. He sometimes says things that get my hopes up (he talks about us getting married in the future, and once mentioned that if I get a bonus next year we could use it for a wedding) but then always backs off if *I* mention marriage. For example, my mom made a comment to me that she really likes him and is willing to help pay for a wedding if we need help (huge families). I thought this was nice and I told him, and he acted annoyed and said we didn't have time to be planning a wedding right now and there's no rush. I am very sad about this. I wasn't thinking about marriage when we first moved in together, but now I want to get married and he just seems comfortable as things are. I guess it makes sense -- why would he want to get married when things are already perfect? I wish I'd listened to my mom and not moved in with him until I had a ring from him. I guess I can't go back and tell him to move out. I am planning on talking to him in a few weeks but I don't know what to say. Please help. :( P.S. I know some people are hesitant to answer questions for new users...I really will appreciate and read your answers even though this is a new account. All input is helpful, I am really struggling with this. Sorry if I put this in the wrong category. It auto-recommended "Engagement & Weddings", it didn't say just "Weddings" when it suggested the category, I thought engagement-related stuff went here too.

Open Question: Should my boyfriend's sister pay me for babysitting her two kids?

My boyfriend and I have been together for about 8 months now and I've gotten to know his family quite well. His older sister is a young widowed single mother with two boys, 6 and 4. She has asked me to babysit a few hours while running errands two or three times and I've gladly helped her out, free of charge. Each time was a last minute thing and not a big deal. However, over Thanksgiving she mentioned in a conversation with me that she needed a sitter for several hours on a Saturday. I offered to do it and she said that would be great. She texted me later that week to confirm and I said yes and that was that. I ended up having to be there earlier than she first told me, by about an hour, and ended up staying almost two hours past when she said she'd be home. I was with the kids for 8 hours, and they were not well-behaved for a good part of the time. I had to call her at one point because it was so bad, and I usually have NO problem controlling kids I sit for. Long story short, she didn't pay me. She didn't even offer me anything. Just very grateful. Should I say something the next time she asks me to babysit? I know money is tight, but I am also a full-time college student and gave up the whole afternoon to help her, during my finals week. I sort of assumed I'd be getting paid AND helping her out. Am I wrong for thinking this way? Does she think that because I'm with her brother that she isn't obligated to pay me? I guess it'd be different if we were engaged or married or something, but I don't know...I guess I would pay anybody--family or not--to babysit my kids if I had them. What should I do and how should I address the situation? I don't want to cause any problems or hard feelings...I just want to be fair about the situation, both to her and myself.

Open Question: i'm half in love with my boyfriend and half in love with my ex.?

i was with my ex for 1 year which was 2 years ago. I have been with my boyfriend over a year. i go to the same school as my ex now and we have become friends again, but he flirts with me and i feel something when i am around him and just see that sparkle in his eyes. he told me that he is looking for a girl like me but no one compares to how i was etc. He said in a jokey way we both know something is there between us. i love my boyfriend although we have a fair few arguments and i have a problem with his friendlyness with girls sometimes although i know deep down he is just friendly with girls i feel like he's flirting and when he goes out i kind of worry. I went to a gathering at my exs house with my best friend, and he was talking to this girl and it looked quite cosy and i got abit upset. although i have a boyfriend! i just felt abit jealous. when i left he gave me a hug and said i love you. which i found abit weird. i am so confused, i don't know what to do and feel so guilty for feeling like this. PLEASEE help. xx
