I have had anxiety for as long as I can remember. They have never been bad enough to get in the way of my social and personal life though. About four months ago I moved away from home to finish up college. I have always had social issues and it is hard for me to make friends. Since moving here I have not left my house to go to any social gatherings nor have I tried to make any friends in class. I feel tense about hanging out with new people and its preventing me from meeting anybody. I don't why I feel so anxious about the people here. Those who know me find my lack of going outside odd. My shyness is overtaking me at work and school, and it never used to be like this. Mentally I always feel stressed and overworked even though in the big picture I don't really do all that much. I mean I am busy, I am full time student and I work 15 hours a week, but I should not feel so stressed it's not my usual style. I am always thinking of what needs to be done, and by when, and how, and it bothers me tremendously until I get it done. Physically I have a lot of diarrhea, sleep problems, and sweaty palms (not always). I am not depressed by any means, just anxious. I thought I would post here, before shelling out $40 to see the doctor.
