Open Question: Sexy Santa Party ideas?My boyfriend and I are throwing a Sexy Santa Party this year and everyone wears their most flattering pj/lingerie. In previous years we've just done some jungle juice, xmas music, and exchange naughty gifts a sort of white elephant gift exchange. The only problem with that is we couldn't quite organize it and people came that we weren't planning which is totally fine. So this year we aren't going to do that. Any ideas for the all around party? Open Question: Boyfriend suspended from work. Help us understand?My boyfriend was "suspended until further notice" from work two days ago. He's a third shift supervisor at a department store. The store manager and loss prevention guy stayed over night for three nights, questioning every single employee that worked third shift. My boyfriend, the supervisor, was kept in the dark and was the last one to be spoken to. A lot of the guys on third shift are younger (ages ranging from 18-22) and look up to my boyfriend, so instead of seeing him as a boss, they see him as a friend and don't listen to him as well as they should. This frustrates my boyfriend, and even when he corrects them and yells, they don't listen. Unfortunately, the only way to get through to these boys is by raising his voice and shouting curse words sometimes, because that seems to be the only thing that grabs their attention. My boyfriend has been spoken to about his use of profanity once before, but it wasn't "on the record" and he wasn't written up. Also, almost everyone on third shift shouts swear words (except three or four out of twenty employees. I know this for a fact because I used to work on third shift with them.) so it's not like my boyfriend is the only one, but then again, he is the supervisor so he has to set a good example. During the investigation people were asked mostly about swearing, texting on their cellphones and sexual harassment. A lot of the kids text during their job which is a huge issue. The managers have come back several times to talk to everyone about it, but no one ever listens. I've even seen someone plug headphones into their phone while unloading a truck and carrying on a conversation with their significant other. None of this is done around my boyfriend, because he's the supervisor and even though most of these kids think he's their friend, they still aren't stupid enough to do something like that around him. But I think the biggest problem on third shift is the sexual harassment. Most of the young boys make sexual comments to the girls about their breasts, bottoms and tell them how much they want to have sex with them. It's been done to me a lot while I worked there, and I know a couple of other girls it's been done to. I've even walked back on the dock and seen one of the guys pressing a girl against the wall, holding himself against her in a sexual manor. There's also been talk of that same guy and another female having sex in the upstairs stock room where there isn't any cameras, but no one knows if that's been done for sure. Five people were suspended on our shift, all of them young guys and my boyfriend. He's worried that he's going to get fired and go down in a sinking ship because these young kids won't behave, even though he's tried to discipline them. He really cares about his job and this is really tearing him apart. The managers have spoken to him and told him he needs to come to them more with the things the employees do wrong, or when they refuse to listen. For the most part, he does, but they really don't listen most of the time. Some of these kids have been talked to numerous times about their behavior by management, but nothing was ever done to them. Some of them have even done things that would be immediate grounds of removal, and the managers found out, and still did nothing but slap them on the wrist. Now they are lumping everything that's ever been done into one big pile, and my boyfriend feels like he's the one who's paying for it. He has a big staff for the size of our store, and when everyone goes out to the floor to work, he can't watch every single one of them all of the time. They're adults anyway, and he shouldn't HAVE to hold their hands. I'm not just on his side because we're in a relationship, because believe me, I hated him as a supervisor because he's tough and doesn't like people screwing around. I'm younger myself, and found myself slacking off with the boys sometimes, but he really does do a good job and makes sure all the work is complete, which is more than I can say for the third shift supervisors we've had in the past. I know I gave you a lot of information and some of it might not make a lot of sense, but what do you guys know about being suspended? Do you think my boyfriend will be terminated because of these young kids? If they would just fire the boys who are causing the problems, everything would fine. I hope they realize that. Other information: Corporate was contacted with information about the investigations. The place we work for doesn't have a Union. If you want to know anything else, please ask and I'll try to give you as much information as possible. My boyfriend was contacted by phone about his suspension. He told me the conversation he had with the manager, word for word, and the manager didn't give him any certain "grounds" or reason of suspension, just that he was being suspended until further notice. Also, i apologize for the length of this. Open Question: my boyfrien and his mum whats their game?Ok well ive be we have been with my boyfriend for 3 years, and ive always known he loves his mother. From the start of the relationship she would call him and ask him to get things for her, a pizza, his sister or somthing from the shop (she drives) i always though it a bot inconsiderate since he doesnt live with me and we wanted to spend time with her. Biut i didnt say any thing she is his mum and its nice to see him look after his mum, plus its none of my business. But now we have a child and at the begining the first day i got home she was there, i though it was a bot soon since i just had my baby but i thiugh shes just excited to be a nanny. BUT THEN she was there the next day and the next day and the next. WELL TO THE IMPORTANT BIT my boyfriend doesnt live in the same city so when he comes home hes missed, plus he wants to spent time with are child and me. The next day shes on the phone asking him for something, im am basicaly a single mum i dont drive i go to college should any thing need doing surly it should be for me. he doesnt see this!! me and his child were sick and he left because his mum wanted something doing. he doesnt cook for me, he'll attempt to clean (then ill have to do it properly) he does cook and clean at his mums. He never invites me round there and we fell out because i said his mum was out of order for not asking me for the baby when hes here and me when hes not. I am the childs sole carer and not a baby sitter for when her son decides to come back. she then txt me and asked me why i said that (because he told her) and she treatened me saying she can be really out of order so i should stay away from her. BUT SHE WAS IN MY HOUSE THE DAY BEFORE AND SAID NOTHING) bascialy i feel like im always going to be secound best. and any problem i have keept to my self because the queen wont like it. i know it seems like it is doomed. i just dont understand how he and her cant see that their wrng. Open Question: Is this my problem, or is this weird of him?I have been with my boyfriend for about 3 years (on and off) its been a hard relationship I believe, but its been going well for awhile now. My boyfriends friend (reuban) has a girlfriend (angel), they've been together not even 2 years. Well, yesterday Angel gave birth to a little girl, and I find it odd that while I was at work during this, my boyfriend was in the room watching the whole birth with front row seating. I have considered the fact that it's a miracle of life kind of thing, but why would an 18 year old boy want to watch his friend's girlfriend give birth? I find it even stranger that a month ago, reuban went out of town to visit family and my boyfriend took her to the movies. He hardly offers to take me out to the movies - she gives him little nicknames such as "gummy bear" and I find strange texts on his phone when they have conversations, nothing considered cheating but just weird sayings like (excuse this) " i wanna lick your butt" .. ummm really that's pretty odd to me & a bit quirky. Even if they are "friends" I don't talk to my guy friends like that. I just find this all a little odd, I was very upset he wanted and did watch her give birth, so i stopped talking to him, its been 2 days and we have had no communication. Any thoughts? Open Question: How can I save my relationship tomorrow?I have a substance abuse problem that upsets my boyfriend a LOT. I had relapsed twice in the last couple months, but he promised to stick with me despite his frustration. Last night I bought some stuff and my sister found it and got me in a lot of trouble. I told my boyfriend about it (I can't lie to him) and he didn't call me for a long time. When I finally called him this morning he was short and kept talking about how he can't be dragged down and how our mutual friend thinks I'm kind of bad news. He said he wants to talk in person tomorrow to try and work stuff out. What can I do?? I really do intend to quit and stay clean and I care so much about my boyfriend!
