I've done everything I could over the last four years and here's what I got: * I have a weighted GPA of 4.82 (out of 5.00) * A non-weighted GPA of 3.82 (out of 4.00) * I'm ranked 10th out of 586 kids with grades counting from 10-12 * I'm ranked 15 out of 586 kids with grades from 9-12 * I won Homecoming King * I've been tennis captain of our JV team for 2 years. Played for our school for 4 years * I'm a part of our school's Leadership program (1 of 45 kids). I'm also the sole Commissioner of Governmental Functions * My mock trial team won county championships (2 years of Mock) - We finished 13th in the state of california (08-09) * I'm an AP scholar Macro econ=3 Microecon=3 World History=4 * while at the same time, planning on receiving the full IB diploma * I was vice president and treasurer for two clubs * I have approximately 248 hours of community service (and counting) * I taught myself how to play the piano * I've attended the UCLA Summer Law Institute * I've interned for a law office * National Honor Society/California Scholarship Federation student - Lifetime member of both the National Honors Society and the California Scholarship Federation. I plan on finishing the requirements for Senior Year. * Taught music for two summers during Freshman and sophomore year for community service * SAT 1910 (Score choice score 1960) * my school is the strongest high school in our county (in terms of test score averages) I know my SAT score is not that hot. I can't help it =/. I'm cursed when it comes to testing. Even with preparation, i still can't break the 2000 mark. It's driving me nuts. The schools I am/have applying/ed to are Have applied to and still waiting: UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC San Diego, and backup UC Davis I'm going to apply to: Yale, Princeton, Harvard, Stanford, Columbia, U Penn, U Chicago, Johns Hopkins, NYU, and Brown.
