Open Question: KNPV, Ringsport, Schutzhund? and more... Open Question: KNPV, Ringsport, Schutzhund?My boyfriend and I are interested in training our GSD for one of these three comp. disciplines. Problem is there is not a local club of any sort. We are in Missoula, MT. There are a couple of Schutzhund clubs within a few hours of here, but nothing local that I have been able to find online. Are there any unadvertised clubs in the area? Anyone from MT that is into this kind of stuff would be great! Thanks BTW our dog Soph shows great toy drive, protective instinct, and has already been trained for pheasant flushing (so I think tracking would be pretty good). She comes from K9 narcotics working lines and has parents and grandparents titled in Schutzhund. We think she has quite a bit of potential, but are looking for a little guidance and advice on the topic so we can decide if it is something we want to pursue. Thank you Chetco! This is something we are both interested in and any help is appreciated. We have bought a few books, but there is only so much we can learn from those... We both thought it would be helpful to make some contacts with people active in the sport and maybe watch some comps/trials etc, just to get a better feel for everything. Thanks again! Open Question: Ideas on how I can move forward with this girl?Alright so here's my situation. A little over a month ago I got out of a relationship with a girl that ended up being the usual reason for a break up, liar, cheater, immature, ect. I was really close with the girl, and it was the second time in a little over 3 months that I had gotten out of the same kind of relationship, so it took a little while to get over. Luckily, I'm a positive person, so I'm a fast rebounder. Now that I'm back on my feet, I have a crush on another girl I wanna get with. It's going to be a bit of a challenge though, as there are a few obstacles in the way. The way we know each other is from a class we had together last year, and we talked a little bit then. Unfortunately, I don't attend the same high school as her anymore, but we do talk on facebook. Also, we're not the most compatible of people. Let me give you an example: Me: Activities:Sports, hanging out with friends Interests:Sports, music, tv, movies, having fun Her: Activities:Art, running, yoga, reading, painting, organizing, volunteering Interests:Animal rights and the environment and senior homes As you may see, not a whole lot of similarities. But she is such a sweet and kind (not to mention extremely cute) girl. I had my friend go undercover for me to see what's up with her, and she found out she's never had a boyfriend, never really had a good guy friend, and doesn't really know how to talk to a guy. A few of my friends think she's a lost cause, but I think differently. I see potential in her because she's different than any other girl i've gone with. It's just getting past the facebook friends stage that's my problem. I need some advice on how I can proceed with this without it being all awkward. Any help is greatly appreciated.
