Open Question: Is it okay to put a different address on a resume? and more... Open Question: Is it okay to put a different address on a resume?I am applying for a job in San Diego, however I currently live in Nashville, TN. I used to live in San Diego and my girlfriend lives in Los Angeles so I want to use either my old San Diego address (my old roommate is still there), or the LA one rather than Tennessee because I don't want the company to shy away from considering someone so far away. I can come out for an interview if I need to, I would just rather them think I'm closer. Does it really matter if I do this or will they ever find out? I figure the worst that happens is I don't get the job and that's the end of it. Open Question: What is your opinion if farm workers are only working 6 months than collecting unemployment for other 6 months? What is your opinion if farm workers are only working 6 months than collecting unemployment for the other 6 months what is with all the hype of agricultural bill must pass or else we will have huge problems ? What are illegals doing the other 6 months & how many are collecting unemployment , since this is a job activists claim Americans will not do, so therefore how are illegals collecting unemployment ? "Our area typically has a high unemployment rate around 17%, so the hike is modeled after what the rest of the country has experienced," said Cathy Kennerson, chief executive of the El Centro Chamber of Commerce. In 2006, El Centro's unemployment rate ranged between 12.2% and 18.4%. Double digits are normal in the good times in the desert just east of San Diego because it is an agricultural area and the farming workforce collects unemployment for half of the year. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/El-Centro-holds-position-for-cnnm-793017960.html?x=0&mod=real-estate They're in the US to work, not to collect public benefits. Than if illegals as you all claim are the only ones doing farm work and you indicate Americans are to lazy to do this work, this leaves the remaing employers to be illegals doing the work. The laws seem to work only when you want them to.If Americans are not doing this job, that leaves the illegals doing it Open Question: Driving From San Diego, CA to Denver, CO?Hey there, I'm thinking of moving to Denver maybe during the summer. I've read that the I-70 can be very bad with grades and steep roads. That is making me think twice about moving. I just need to know if its really that scary to drive there. Also, how's the driving in Winter from San Diego there? If I decide to move, I'd like my family to come visit next Christmas time. Any suggestions? Can it be that dangerous? One last thing, what town would be the halfway point to stop and stay in a hotel since I'd like to make it there in a day and a half? Thanks! More Recent Articles
