Open Question: How long would it take to send a letter from CA to TX? and more... Open Question: How long would it take to send a letter from CA to TX?I want to send a letter from San Diego, CA to Mesquite, TX and have it get there on the 25th. What day would be best to send it to get it there on that day? Open Question: What are a few fun indoor activities for boys (ages 7 and 10) that I can use ...?in case their own imaginations fizzle out and /or it begins to rain outdoors? We've invited a new neighbor (the 10 year-old) over for the afternoon and we have a fully-stocked toy section here to rival a toy store (unbelievably), but I want to have a few suggestions on hand in case all the toys don't quite do the trick. Also, we have a threat of rain - unusual here in San Diego - and may be confined to the indoors. We can bake/decorate stuff (always good because the boys like to eat it up afterwards). We have lots of art supplies. Any suggestions for fun-to-do activities that aren't too messy and would appeal to both 2nd and 4th graders? Open Question: is it pretty hard to get into USC?what about the other schools, such as UC santa barbara, UC Davis or UC san diego? i've heard its very hard to get into these schools, especially USC i have a 3.2 gpa this semester, but normally i have a 3.5 or above; but this year (tenth grade) i am taking very hard classes; such as trigonometry, chemistry, Honors english and honors history i am also on my schools swim team and plan to take be on it for all of high school... i am going to work hard for the rest of high school to try and get a 3.5 gpa on every report card... some people tell me that u have to have a 4.0 or above to get in to USC, but i know an adult who went there and had like a 3.3 gpa... does anyone know how hard it actually is? do i have a chance of getting in, if i improve my grades and get an average of a 3.5 gpa in high school w/ honors classes and maybe 2 AP classes...and be on the swim team for 4 full years?? I love playing soccer and I feel that I'm very good and I want to join a MLS Soccer team in the future.
