Open Question: 10 easy points?? pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee?hello im living here in san diego and i wanna know where can i get a above elbow gloves made out of satin....or any other stores here where i can go...to get them Open Question: BofA abuse of power: refuse to cash their own check, what action can I take?Today, 12/3/09, I tried to cash a check at a Bank of America branch in San Diego. This check is a BofA check, amount is $7K+, initial issued date 5/27/09 and is not expired, plus issuer guaranteed check still valid. When I told the 1st teller I want to cash it she said I have to deposit it, when I told her I don't have a BofA account she then said they don't have that much cash on site; when I told her I am going to file a complaint, a 2nd teller said they only have small bills ($20s etc) but can cash it, I said fine. This 2nd teller took my finger print, 2 IDs and spend about 30mins only to tell me check is stale dated (since 11/27 passed) yet the check has not expired. I ask her to provide refusal statement in writing, she took 5 more mins typing and print a sheet listing only the issuer info and a check box with phrase 'refer to maker'. She refused to give me in writing what she had said. I then ask for their written requirement for 2 IDs and finger print to cash a check. She gave me a card for customer service and refuse to furnish this requirement in writing. Is it legal for them to take finger print to cash their own check? Isn't it my right for them to provide for me in writing this requirement? What action can I take for what BofA has done? Which agencies can I write a letter of complaint to? Judith: that is the full story. Even those I took this long to cash check (for reason of had moved and death in family), the check is still valid and is NOT expired!!! What do you mean Ms Stevie? Open Question: I need help fighting a red light camera ticket. Anyone have any advice? The supposed offense happened 0.7 second [NOT EVEN 1 second] after the light turned red. I was already in the middle of the intersection. I have no job [looking for work], have very little resources and live with my Mom for now [She had me running an errand for her when I got caught] I saw the yellow, and thought I could make it. Next time I will be more cautious. Otherwise I'm a good driver, but this was obviously not one of my best moments. This happened in San Diego, California Also, I was going straight. Also, if I choose to fight it and lose, can I still go to traffic school? More Recent Articles
