Open Question: Transfer applicants at UCSD with a 2.9 gpa?Hey guys so just wondering if you or anyone you know has been accepted at UC San Diego as a junior level transfer applicant with a GPA of 2.9, soon to go up, but application are due in 3 days. I'm just wondering if i should even bother trying to apply. I know they have like six different colleges so are my chances of being accepted any better in one over the other. I'm applying as a psychology/cognitive science major if that makes a difference. Please be honest and brutally honest at that. I have a TAG (transfer agreement) signed with UC Davis already so I'm not worried about not getting accepted anywhere. Also when they review my application will they look at my GPA that includes this fall semester, because like I said, in December my GPA will be higher thanks :) Open Question: Webcomic sampler at San Diego comic-con?I've been trying to find a webcomic but I forgot the name, hope you can help me out. I read it from a comic sampler from various artists that my friend had (and I think he got it at comic-con but I don't know when). The comic I want to find had 3 characters, one being an old looking(but strong) guy with glasses, a girl and a guy who interact with the narrator and the frames in the pictures and stuff like that. They even punch a hole in the paper and when you turn the page you can see them looking through the hole to the past and a character being hit by whatever made the hole in the future. One of them even dug a hole into another comic called "eat the roses". And that's all I can remember.
