Open Question: I'm 18 and I live at home, but I'm sick of being controlled by my mom and her boyfriend?So my boyfriend of 5 years moved into my house 3 weeks ago. He had some problems at home, so my mom said he can stay for awhile until he can afford his own place. He has been staying in my basement. Tonight I fell asleep down there, and at like 330AM my moms boyfriend (who I can't stand at all) comes stomping down, screaming at me. I wasnt doing anything wrong. He is my boyfriend for so long, and I'm an adult. I'm so sick of this. And my boyfriend doesnt get along with my moms boyfriend at all, so I'm constantly afraid of them getting into a fight (it already happened once, just yelling though, nothing physical) and I hate having to worry about that constantly. Anyhow, so I want to move out with him when he can finally afford it. (I'm in college). And my mom refuses to let me move out! She actually threatened that she will force me to live with my dad (pretty much absentee father my whole life) if I dont "get the thought out of my head". The whole situation is dumb. What is wrong with me sleeping downstairs with him? We werent having sex (we already have, and my mom knows that, but I wouldnt in her house with her home). And if I want to move out, I should be allowed to without being threatened to have to live with my dad. I just really need someone's advice in how to handle this situation. Open Question: HELP HELP HELP!! ALL SALES REPS PLEASE!!?HI SORRY I REALLY AM STUCK AT THE MOMENT. I HELPED MY BOYFRIEND TO FIND A JOB, 6 WEEKS HE HAS BEEN THERE ALREADY AND HE IS WORKING FOR UNIVERSAL K AND IS A SALES REP SELLING THE KIRBY VACUM, HE HAS WORKED EVERYDAY EXCEPT FOR SUNDAYS FROM 10.30AM AND GETS HOME AT 11.30PM OR LATER 6 DAYS A WEEK. PROBLEM IS HE HASNT GOT PAID ANYTHING AT ALL AND HAS MADE 8 SALES WHILST CANVASSING AND WORKING IN THE EXTREME HEATS SO FAR IN A SUIT. WHEN IS HE ENTITLED TO GET PAID AS I HAVE WORKED OUT THAT HE IS DOING 72+ HOURS A WEEK!! IVE TRIED EXPLAINING TO HIM THAT HE IS GETTING RIPPED OFF BUT HE SEEMS TO ENJOY THIS SO MUCH IVE NEVER SEEN HIM SO HAPPY. HIS MUM AND I HAVE TRIED EXPLAINING THIS TO HIM BUT HE DOESNT UNDERSTAND, MY NEXT MOVE WILL BE THE DHS.. PLEASE TELL ME IS THIS NORMAL OR SHOULD HE BE DEMANDING MONEY FOR THE RIDICULOUS AMOUNT OF HOURS WORKED?? More Recent Articles
