Barnett and Pierce estimated that there is a 10 percent chance that the lake could go dry as early as 2014. Imagine Los Angeles on a summer day with sporadic air conditioning and only a trickle of water coming out of the faucet. Its very hard for us to commute... because my car is a piece of crap and can only go about 40 minutes in distance until it starts acting weird.. and she doesn't have a car. Her sister said she can drive her over... but I don't want her sister to drive 8 hrs total back and forth to drop off and pick her up! I don't want to bother my friends to drive me all the way there and she doesn't want to bother hers... and also... public transportation is a no for us ahha because... I WILL get lost and I don't want her to travel alone especially on a bus or metrolink. it can be dangerous for her. We have thought about just meeting half way... but is there a city thats preferrably smack in between chino hills and san diego? that also has some fun attractions or is interesting so were not bored to death? haha I considered irvine... but thats in my favor because its closer to me.. and I don't want her to travel a further distance. and cabs are waaayy too expensive... anyone please have any ideas?
